Patagonia is known not only by its unique wildlife and stunning scenery, but also as one of the most important paleontological sites in the world. This tour will combine both things, the opportunity to interact with nature by taking a dolphin-watching boat trip, and a bit of science.
The day will begin by driving to Playa Union to encounter one of the smallest dolphins in the ocean, the Commerson’s, also known as “the Pandas of the sea”. The duration of the boat trip is approx. one hour. After that, there will be time to enjoy a lovely lunch at one of the most traditional local fish and seafood restaurants. Finally, we drive to the city of Trelew and visit the Museum for Paleontology MEF, house of the world’s largest dinosaur found so far.
